New Maestia launch and update
Maestia – Rise of Keledus
Heroes of Maestia,
We would like to wish a very happy new year to all of our players and are starting off 2012 with a huge announcement!
Maestia will be launched on alaplaya.net soon!
Quick Facts:
• Complete server relocation, including user accounts, on 31 January 2012!
• Massive graphic and feature update!
• All user currency will of course be retained!
• Additional servers!
Please note that the payment will be shut down on 23.01.2012! Any orbs
booked until then will be kept and moved to AP (the Alaplaya.net premium
currency).
Maestia – Rise of Keledus.
Comprehensive update ushers in the next chapter of the Maestia saga
Just in time for the launch on alaplaya.net, Maestia will receive a massive update. Under the subheading ‘Rise of Keledus’, we are starting a new chapter in our saga on 31 January 2012. Everyone reliant on the powers of the Maestones will be thrilled to hear that the amount of Maestones has been increased threefold. Furthermore, the power of the Maestones has been categorized to correspond to respective player levels, in order to increase personalized options when it comes to abilities based on class. In addition, hundreds of brand new items will boost the fun of collecting. Numerous improvements to group play have also been made, and soon there will also be new raid content for level 100 players and guilds
However, improvements were not limited to just content, but rather technical specs have also been drastically improved. All weapons, armor, characters, monsters and areas now have improved graphics. Overall game performance has been enhanced and there are new graphic effects such as the high dynamic range, which increases the contrast of the background graphics.

Tinck and other things
Update 1st November 2011
Heroes of Maestia,
On Tuesday the 1st of November 2011 we will start our server
maintenance. The servers will be unavailable between 7:00am and 8:00am
CET. You will not be able to login.
Thank you for your understanding.
The following changes and bugfixes are planned:
Our Halloween event will end with this patch. We hope you all enjoyed it and we hope you all got our cool event items!
The content of the Fortuna's Trove will change:
The cool armor set will be removed from the boxes, if you still need it, you better hurry!
Two new cool things will be added to the box, with a bit of luck those could be yours soon:
The cute elf "Tinck" could be your new companion. Tinck gives you an agility intelligence or strenght +30 boost! Tinck is exclusivly available only via the new troves! Like all pets this is a permanent one.

The Enchantment-Transfer Insurance Scroll, 7 Days has been added as well. You can use this scroll as protection on an enchantment transfer, this will safe your original item in case of transfer failure.
Those scrolls have one time usage, similar to the current insurances. Each of those insurances won from the new troves have a 7 day timer. After 7 days the item will be removed from the inventory/storage.
Please note, this insurance has no impact on the transfer chance!

Improvements
- Seal stones in Delphi have less health and can be easier destroyed.
- If multiple players attacked a seal stone the person with the most damage has finished the quest, now all players involved in the fight will have their quest task completed.
- The icon for orbs
was changed to differ from the DP item. - The language of the launcher will now change based on the OS language (DE, EN, TR and FR are currently available).
- The teleporters in the volcano RvR map got replaced with teleport zones. If you move on one of those zones you will be teleported into the battlefield. Important: you have to move to the center of the zones to trigger the teleport.
- The purchase button in the premium shop shopping cart now has the correct translation.
- Buff/skill cooldowns with more then 5 minutes are now saved/restored on logout/login.
- Items used on enchant transfer now have to be lower or of the same level as your character level.
- The effect for success and failure for both enchantment and enchant transfer has been reworked.
- If a player and a mercenary get attacked while praying/regenerating, then the mercenary will now also cancel the prayer and rejoin battle.
Bugfixes
- Skill in the skill tree are now correctly displayed based on the enchantment levels.
- Mercenaries with level 6-10 above the character level were displayed in red, this bug has been fixed.
- The tooltip in the mercenary interface was also adjusted to reflect the above change.
- A rare bug was fixed with NPCs that attacked and killed players.
- Various smaller bugfixes.

Happy Halloween!
and here we scare...
Like last year we will start our Halloween event at the 18th of October 2011. The event will run for about two weeks.
You will find Jack 'O Lantern pumpkin monsters all over the zones. Those drop coins which you can turn in for cool Halloween boxes! For 1, 3, 5, 7 and 10 of those coins you can get various Halloween boxes at Lucy in Superion. You will find her in the center of Superion. Those boxes contain cool masks, potions and accessories!
Gamemasters will held special spawn event over the weekends where you can join in and fight big Halloween bosses at level 20, 55 and 99 which will drop those event boxes!
Lucy will also offer a quest where you receive your first coins for free and where she explains the event for you!
In addition you can also purchase various costumes, masks and mounts at the vendors for Gold, for Luma and for Orbs. We are absolutely sure there is something for everyone!

Our Halloween-Event is online
The following changes and bugfixes are online:
Removal of orange colored items Please head over to the German forums if you are playing on Delphi or Papyrus server, this information might impact you as a user on those servers. New game content
- Our Halloween event will start, more details here: Happy Halloween.
- Our previewed Pet system will go live, more details here: Pets In Maestia.
- The first Set items
are ready and will be released to the World of Maestia. Those
items offer additional bonuses once you equip more from the same
set.
- Items from various sets will drop from field monsters in the current game world and need to be identified prior useage!
- Set bonuses will be activated once you equip more items from the same set.
- You can already see the full set bonuses once you aquired one item from the set.
- Each of the 4 classes in Maestia can find 12 sets ranging from level 15 to 100!
- Set items are colored in green.
- Set items are not soulbound and can easily be traded or auctioned.

- The first sets are meant for solo or casual players and collectors.
- The effect for critial hits has been improved to be better distinguished from regular attacks.
- If an item was auctioned off or expired at the auction house, you will receive a new notification icon on the minimap.
- If you send a whisper to a which is AFK, you will not see the message sent. Both will now see the message.
- If additional storage room expires, the user interface was not properly updated. This has been improved.
- If you get killed in RvR and night maps, you will now see the name of your opponent.
- If you enable auto potion for the mercenaries they will now show the proper potion in the menu.
- The level requirement for mercenaries have been increased from 5 to 10 levels. Please keep in mind that the tooltip is not updated yet.
- If you press Enter to chat and use Tab to cycle throught the chat commands, /u for faction chat will now be included.
- The name for each key will now be shown in the character menu on mouse over.
- The broken animations have been fixed.
- Potions now work properly for mercenaries again. (Use + button and make changes.)

- Only players with proper rights in a guild will now see the drop down and settings for each guild rank.
- Issues with the display of the remaining time on costumes have been fixed.
- Tooltips on open menus will now properly show even if game objects like monsters or players are below the mouse cursor.
- A bug with the ranger "Black Shadow" skill in combionation with RvR join and leave has been fixed .
- The party leader can no longer kick mercenaries of party members.
- If the first key quest was incomplete but the second was completed, then both keys got highlighted in the character window. This was fixed.
- Potions can be used again while under absolute protection.
- Various clipping problems in Tenebra and Gelian have been fixed.
- Various smaller bugfixes and improvements.

Since we do not know by start at which character you want to receive your gift,
we need the following details sent in:
- your character name f/m (please add female or male)
- the server you are playing on
- your 10 answers to our 10 questions!
- Please use the correct wording for those answers (Superion =/= Stuperion)
- Important: only one ticket per account/user!
3. Can I submit more then once? Will this raise my chance to win?
- No, we only accept one ticket per user so please do not use 2nd accounts or we will disqualify you.
4. I logged in after 8pm CET, any chance to get those questions?
- If you are lucky you may find players in the chat that have noted the questions. Good luck!
5. I submitted at 9:01pm CET to the support. Am I still in?
